Oscar Jackson Moves House!

Oscar Jackson moved to Woodruff Close last Friday with his Mum and Dad.

He now has a much larger bedroom and a proper garden to play in - and a girl next door of the right age!!

He missed no 23 to begin with (it was the only house he had ever known), but is now getting used to no 10.

Once Dad puts stars on his bedroom ceiling, it will start to feel like home!

Oscar Jackson likes a Bath!

At the end of a long hard day, Oscar likes nothing better than a bath to get him all clean and ready for bed!

He is,of course, covered in food after his meal, with probably yogurt in his hair and half a rusk in his ear, so he certainly needs it!

Oscar Jackson's Dad has a Birthday!

Oscar Jackson is starting to realise about birthdays. His Dad had one recently and Oscar noted that he went away on holiday for a week and he received lots of presents. Then, when he returned home, all the family turned up for a party, and best of all he had a special cake with 'Happy Birthday' on it!

Oscar is wondering if he will have a birthday soon, and if so,whether he will be taken away on holiday and have presents and a cake too, or is it just Dads who are that lucky?!

He is getting to know his family better now, as you can see from the pictures of Isla, Hilary and Jan and Tom.

He is starting to realise about kissing girls!

At Last! A New Blog from Oscar Jackson!

Dear All,

Apologies for the great delay.

Oscar Jackson has ,of course, continued to grow in the meantime; just compare the picture of him with Chris with the ones taken this week!

He has been staying with the Orys for a few days, and we have had brilliant weather, so he has spent a lot of time in the garden.

But we were not pleased at being woken up in the morning by a dreadful crash (?!!*!)as he pulled dishes out of a cupboard, nor when he broke a lamp!

I have enquired from Nottinghamshire Constabulary today whether we can apply for an ASBO, if it happens again!

Oscar's First Christmas!

Oscar Jackson had heard a lot about Christmas, but wasn't quite sure whether he was going to like it.

His Mummy and Daddy were very secretive about something and he kept seeing them with strange packages and kissing under some funny looking weeds!

They then drove down to Granny and Grandad's house and who should be there but Auntie Totsy, Uncle Joely and Great Aunt Monica.

Oscar liked all the coloured lights on the Christmas trees in the house, and wondered what all the brightly wrapped packages were under the tree.

He was excited when, on Christmas morning, many of the packages contained presents for him!

The downside to all these festivities was that Totsy did take 95 pictures!

Oscar Jackson starts to get to know Granny and Grandad Ory!

Oscar Jackson (who has recently passed 3 months) has spent the last 2 weekends with the Orys.

Oscar is slightly apprehensive because Granny keeps saying ' He is so adorable! - I could eat him!!', but keeps telling himself that she does not mean it literally.

Yesterday we went on a nice walk round some rocks before lunch.

Oscar Jackson's first holiday

Oscar Jackson really enjoyed his first trip to the Lake District. It was really nice for him to spend all day with not only Mummy but Daddy too. He loved going on walks and he thought it was fun to be fed up mountains and by streams. He also learnt what a pub is like in the evening. It was strange living in a cottage for a week. Not the same as number 23 but he got used to it in the end!
