Oscar Jackson is putting on weight!

Oscar has now put on over 3 pounds and last week hit the scales at 8 pounds,13 ounces!
He is noticeably heavier than before.
He is looking forward to his aunt's wedding on Saturday (though he is not quite sure what a wedding is).
What is he going to wear?
He hopes Mummy has got a special outfit (or 2) for him, as he wants to look his best.

OSCAR JACKSON meets the Family _ Part 2 !

Oscar is enjoying meeting his wider family - he has already been to Kippax and is looking forward to a trip to France to see Grandma Hilary, perhaps next year.
He just hopes that they won't expect him to speak French fluently - he is unlikely to be able to speak English by then!
He is putting on weight and has grown out of his first set of clothes!
He likes playing on his mat.
He is getting over his first cold!

Oscar Jackson is getting to know his family!

Oscar went to a family lunch in Kippax on Sunday.
Everyone said how much he had grown!
They had a nice lunch but Oscar had his 'usual' and a bit of formula from Daddy and Granny Ory - see the pictures.
He met Isla, who waved goodbye at the window; he liked meeting someone of his generation for a change.

Will Oscar Jackson be a model when he is older?

He has already been photographed by a professional photographer before he was 4 weeks old!
How many people can beat that!
He has carefully vetted the pictures above, to make sure they are showing his best side.
And for those people worried whether he has feet, yes, there is a special shot of these too.
He does appreciate why these models get so grumpy and deserve the large salaries they earn; being photographed from all angles for ages is ever so tiresome!

Nasty Shock for Oscar Jackson!

A few days ago, Oscar was rather upset because his belly button fell off. No one had told him this was going to happen, and he has become rather anxious at times, worrying what the future will bring.
'Will something else fall off?'
He has been glad to hear that Mummy is thinking of taking him on sign language classes when he is a bit older. It is so difficult when you cannot communicate!
Apart from that, he has enjoyed swimming in the bath with Daddy last night and the visit from Granny and Grandad has not gone too badly - he likes the picture of him and Granny.
He enjoys going out in his pushchair on a walk.

Dreadful Ordeal for Oscar Jackson!

Last Thursday was a bit of a black day for Oscar!
He had a visit from 4 Orys - Granny and Grandad, and Great Aunts Monica and Juliet!
They were all wanting to hold him at the same time - 'why doesn't he open his eyes when we want to take his picture?'.
He was being snapped all the time - he was tempted to feign sleep or bad temper just to avoid it all, but being a good natured soul he tried to put up with it with a good grace.
But he does not know how he will cope tomorrow, when Daddy goes back to work, and Granny and Grandad come to help Mummy for a few days.
Despite it all, he does like the picture of Mummy, Daddy and Oscar attached, so maybe it is worth it, after all!
